The Haunting of Westbury Pool with Ian Lawman 

Join Ian Lawman and "Mysteria Paranormal Events" in probably one of the most unusual locations you have ever investigated.  Westbury Pool is a relatively resent haunting with poltergeist activity and full manifestations which have been reported by visitors and staff on numerous occasions.  We will be using unique energy building equipment on the night to see if we can make contact with whom or what haunts Westbury Pool.

Westbury in Wiltshire is famous for the mysterious chalked White Horse dramatically

positioned on the hillside overlooking the village of Westbury. Legend tells of the Battle of Ethandun when King Arthur defeated the Vikings in 878AD, it is believed that the white horse was specially made to commemorate their victory.

Wiltshire has a lot Ley lines that are alleged alignments of ancient monuments and megaliths that are said to have spiritual powers. Some say the focus of those powers have an impact on what haunts Westbury Pool.

Church Street baths were constructed by the wealthy mill ownerWilliam Laverton and opened in 1887 which has earned Westbury Pool the title of the longest-serving swimming pool in the country, the beautiful Victorian architecture remains to this day.

There is a resident ghost fondly nicknamed George by the staff, his presence has been reported on numerous occasions, a full manifestation walking at the end of the pool has been reported several times, I was lucky enough to witness this myself about 4 years ago.

One of the stories told, is that George was a First World War soldier who visited the pool whilst on leave, with the absence of diving boards he decided to jump off the viewing gallery, as he did, he misjudged the distance and broke his neck on impact as he hit the edge of the pool. Others say that George was one of the pool caretakers, whatever the case, George is still very active. Locker doors swing open of their own accord, staff and customers have been pushed, and dark shadows have been seen darting around corners.

EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) is one of the most fascinating evidence of the paranormal. When I attended an investigation of Westbury Pool about 4 years ago I recorded one of my most striking pieces of evidence to date.

You will be joined by one of the UK's leading celebrity mediums, Ian Lawman whose career has grown from strength to strength with appearances on TV programmes such as "I'm Famous & Frightened, Most Haunted" & "Living with the Dead."
