Welcome to the 2011 Winter edition of Mysteria Paranormal
news.
Here we are again folks, the back end of the year, bringing with it the
cold, the dark, and the wet days, but nevertheless, here at Mysteria we hope to bring enlightenment into the…
into your… paranormal world by continuing to offer you venues old and new for you to join in with us and
investigate.
Quick safety note here folks: with the cold wintery nights now being
upon us, we have to consider the effects the weather may have upon vehicles when they’ve been parked in the
cold night air for an event, so please, please, please, before leaving a venue, make sure your engine has
been allowed to warm up for a few minutes, that your windscreen is demisted and is cleared of frost or ice,
and be wary of adverse road conditions. Stay safe.
2011has seen us introduce several new Mysteria team members who
you may have already met on our events, among those are: Carl Mann
(Medium), Susanne Gill (Medium), Carol Joseph (Host/Medium), and Ramon Miles
(Host).

A recent investigative first for Mysteria was the Halloween ghost hunt
at Carnfield Hall in Derbyshire, their own website describes it as “One of Derbyshire’s hidden treasures”, a
title it richly deserves, for it is a beautiful old house, and it has to be said that the event was
exceptionally well catered for by our truly wonderful hosts.
A tasty home cooked meal was provided for us by our hosts; Ian Lawman was
our medium for the night; and we held a fancy dress competition; the winner (Sharon Sleigh) won a private
reading with Ian and a £50 Mysteria voucher, a really big thank you to all for taking
part.
How about a pumpkin carving competition for Halloween
2012?
We also held several other events over the Halloween weekend such as the ones at Liverpool’s
Stanley Dock, and the ever popular 35 Stonegate in York, if anyone has any photos they’d like to share from any
Mysteria events, then please either upload them via our Facebook page, e-mail them to on or post them to: Mysteria Paranormal Events, PO Box 53, Oldham. OL3
5XR.
As late in the year that it is, we still have several events to help you see out 2011 with a
plethora of paranormal phenomenon, for we have for your delight
"The Ultimate Psychic show and Ghost Hunt at The Galleries of Justice, Nottingham" on
the 25th November with Carl Mann, a “Night of terror at the York
Dungeons”, and in December we have York Guildhall on the
3rd, The Hellfire
Club in Manchester with Paul Voodini on the 9th, and before we take a short seasonal break to
return for even more investigations into the paranormal in 2012 with some fantastic new locations, we have our last
event of 2011 which is the infamous ‘
Stonegate’ in York (an Ian Lawman event) on the 10th.
We kick off 2012 on the 14th of January with two events; those being the ever popular Mr
Ian Lawman at an increasingly popular venue: Drakelow Tunnels, and one of the
North East’s most popular mediums Suzanne Gill in a night of suspense as we investigate an
equally popular venue, "The Castle Keep" in Newcastle.
Now lets be honest, whoever heard of doing a ghost hunt at a Zoo? Hands up those
who have even thought about! Well, as usual, Mysteria is breaking totally new ground on the
20th of January with a new and exclusive Mysteria location,
“
Blackpool Zoo". Not many people know that the zoo is very haunted and has daily
reports of strange occurrences that cannot be explained, so how do you fancy a night out with a ‘bit of a bite’ to
it?
Also in January, this time the 25th to the
27th we haveanother
chance for you to book a weekend event with Mysteria at St Briavels Castle, one of the most
haunted locations in the country. Your weekend will start with a medieval style banquet on the Friday to
give you time to unwind before the main event, but be warned... there are stories of people who have left
the castle in the middle of the night due to extreme paranormal activity!
At the time of writing, we have events advertised to the 21st of April 2012, so please
take a few minutes to check out the events page on our website http://www.mysteriaparanormalevents.co.uk/Ghost-Hunting-Events.html
As has been said before, Mysteria is always
looking at new locations and activities in order to bring you the best
paranormal experience we possibly can, so if you live in an area that appears to be ‘forgotten’ let us know of any haunted locations in
your area and we’ll certainly look into them, and who knows, we might just see you in your home
town.
Christmas; Are you stuck for idea of what to buy someone for Christmas, well how about giving them a
Mysteria gift voucher, a gift that can be purchased from website which can be used on bookings for any of our
forthcoming events, and allow them to experience a little something of what is “out there”.
Mysteria Ghost Club
We also have the free to join Mysteria ghost
Club. We started the Ghost Club a while back now, with the
simple intension of offering timely information about future ghost hunting events. The club now offers special
discounted rates for club members only which you can use right away saving you 5% discount on future
investigations.
With Christmas being on the horizon, all that remains for us to do now is to
wish you all a very Merry Christmas and our very best wishes for the New Year. We look forward to seeing you on a Mysteria event soon, and take care.
