My passions are both the Paranormal and our company Mysteria.  Over the years I have been part of two private paranormal research teams, been a paranormal host and sat in about 6 development circles developing my skills as a psychic medium.  The combination of being a paranormal investigator and psychic medium has put me in a good post ion to guide Mysteria Paranormal Events forward to being one of the most respected ghost hunting companies in the UK.  I have very high standards and I am not happy unless our customers are happy with their experience with Mysteria Paranormal Events.

Medium

I’ve always known I was different even as a small child, but it wasn’t until five years ago that I was fully “awakened” spiritually. The awakening process happened almost overnight. I used to see spirits at night and had been experiencing things like this for many years, but I put it out of my mind.

A sense of “knowing” has always been there, but in 1996 my eyes were opened in a physical sense. I saw spirits in a normal physical form. These were spirits of people who had properly “passed over.” I also saw other souls who were semi-transparent, these souls may have been troubled, had unfinished business, or who were simply lost and needed passing over in to the light.

At Christmas 2005 I was told I would have a Christmas gift. On Christmas Eve my Grandfather appeared in front of me in physical form but looked brighter, radiant, younger and in no pain. (He had passed over in 1996)

Today I run spiritual development classes, workshops; I am a working medium, doing church and centre demonstrations; private readings, and I run my own clairvoyant evening.

Given the chance of working with a company like “Mysteria” on ghost hunting events I find  exciting because it is a different method of working with spirit which takes me to some fascinating locations across the country.

Andy Mercer

Andy Mercer has been investigating the paranormal for more than 20 years.  From the early days of working with writer and researcher Andy Collins’ Earthquest  group in the late 1980’s, to running his own investigation team ‘The Institute of Paranormal Research’ Andy has investigated haunted  locations across the UK.  He worked for, and with, a number of private and professional investigation teams before joining  Mysteria Paranormal Events.

Andy is a qualified Psychotherapist who has his own practice and now brings his knowledge of the human mind to bear while working with Mysteria.  Although a firm believer in the existence of the paranormal he is equally sure that no current explanation or theory fully accounts for it, and is dedicated to continuing his research in to the supernatural.  Although these days he focuses more on the gathering of physical evidence (video, audio etc), he by no means dismisses the possibility that ‘psychics and mediums’ are in contact with something beyond the normal.
