stands the Keep of Clitheroe Castle. It has been suggested that the castle may have been built before
1086 after a reference in the Domesday Book. Clitheroe Castle Museum dates back to the mid 1700's and was
originally a court house, prison and administration centre. Unexplained noises have been heard on
numerous occasions and even ghostly apparitions have been seen... To get to the bottom of the paranormal
